Back from yet another hiatus...

After a very failed attempt at creating and uploading my own skin design, I chose this one by 7shimt-elro7 instead.

DeviantART hasn't been a part of the way I exhibit my internet addiction lately, but since I love it as a way to back up files of important artwork I am trying to return and share some of my photography.

I have a show next month at a local boutique/gallery. My recent series, beautiful freaks at a glam rock opera, will be gracing their walls.

I suppose I could talk a bit about the series...

It is heavily inspired by portraits of french aristocracy from the 17th century. Obviously there are heavy doses of glam rock legends such as David Bowie and Twisted Sister. I've been thinking about doing the series for some time after falling in love with some idea sketches. Maybe I'll post them once I get this scanner functional.

Anyway I hope everyone is doing marvelously.

Nice to hear from you again. How are things roundabout your gaffe? I hope you are feeling more chipper. (Threw in some cockney bollocks there for you.)

I have this new job (since last October actually), working for Intel. Yes, that one. I do software for netbooks/phones these days. Who'd have thought it?

But not much in the way of poetry. Though I do have a CD of my music actually being released by a tiny, internet record label. The title is "One Million Corners". Hurrah!

You are by far my favorite deviant to get updates from. When I see you have something new, I always click the link straight away. I love your imagination and you clearly have a style and emotion you want out of your shots. I wish there were more artists that were willing to try things as wild as you. Keep up the great work!
